There will be an Online (Schoology) Health (Grades 9-12) position available for the Summer School Academy 2024.Requirements for the position include: to conduct a predominately virtual half credit course in high school 12 beginning Monday, June 3, 2024 through Friday, July 12, 2024. The position will also require organization of rosters online in preparation of orientation, facilitating a virtual student orientation session, (format is your choice) and entering of final grades by 12 noon Friday, July 19. Additional hours as required for planning, instruction, assessment, record-keeping, and communication with students and families.
Salary: $3,240
Internal candidates (currently employed by the Olentangy Local School District) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking.
External candidates must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking and complete an online Teacher Candidate Assessment. In addition, a letter of interest and current resume must be uploaded within the Attachments section of the application. Applicants may revisit their online application at any time to make necessary additions or changes.
The online Teacher Candidate Assessment is sent via a link under separate email cover. On occasion, the email may end up in junk or spam mail. If so, the link will be titled "Do Not Reply" with the subject "Regarding your Olentangy Local Schools application". Keep in mind that the assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process. Once the assessment is started, it must be completed.
